Budget of New Mahi Gram Panchayat for 2025-26
The annual budget of New Mahi Gram Panchayat for the financial year 2025-2026 is presented to you with complete optimism. In this budget, an attempt has been made to consider different sectors with due importance. The budget presented here today is a continuation of the activities of New Mahi Gram Panchayat for four years. A precise vision of the goals we need to achieve in different sectors gives direction to this budget. We must be able to achieve the sustainable development goals targeted by the Fourteenth Five Year Plan. For this, conscious interventions in various sectors are essential. The stagnation of the production and trade sectors is seriously affecting our resource potential. We must be able to strengthen the economic stimulus of the country by utilizing the tourism sector. That is not something that can be achieved solely through the budget of the Gram Panchayat. Time reminds us of the importance of local self-government institutions achieving financial self-reliance. For this, additional resources need to be found. There has been no attempt in this budget to secure the financial condition of the Gram Panchayat by reducing expenses. Rather, this budget has focused on the comprehensive development of the community by maximizing public expenses. The budget approved by the Finance Standing Committee of New Mahi Gram Panchayat on March 10, 2025 is presented before you.
